Angel Blessings Spiritualist Church.

 
Many people make the decision to open a Spiritualist Church in the local community but Angel Blessings is based on the internet and will continue to be held on zoom. This allows us to host wonderful mediums who during the whole period of lockdown and beyond have never taken a penny for their services. 

With work taking Billy in  a few directions the decision was made to hand over the running of ABSC to Rona Wills. Rona has many years of committee experience within Bon Accord Spiritualist Church in Aberdeen as well as being on the SNU  Scottish & Irish District Council. She  was a great choice to keep ABSC open. 

With Covid hitting our Services and Churches across the world the way it did we decided we had to do something to give local people a place to come together primarily to worship. we quickly learned that our church was attracting people from all over the world.

Over the time we have been online friendships have blossomed and a community has built with people coming back week after week again without having to leave their home. We have people from across the UK and the world.

We have a wide range of Mediums who work with us ranging from Award Holders of the Spiritualist National Union, Ministers, Officiants and others from well known and respected Mediums through to people who are just starting out on their public journey.

It's always a pleasure to present new workers and to see how they grow and develop over time, these are our pioneers of tomorrow and we have a responsibility to allow them a platform to practise and work from.

Our Service consists of welcoming everyone and introducing  the Medium for the evening.

Healing time with Music to allow for contemplation with names being added to the Churches healing Book.

Then the floor is handed over to our guests, who might deliver a spiritual address or might just go straight into their demonstration. Every worker is different so we leave it up to them with no pressure.

The Service finishes at 8pm with the notices or announcements for the week ahead for our churches and events as well as advertising other local churches and then closed with a Prayer.

After the Service some stay online to chat and have a catchup just the same as you would in a physical Church Service.

 We only have one rule and thats the respect of others at all  times and no bad behaviour or language that would make anyone uncomfortable, this has been adhered to all through the time we have been open and we have had no issues.

The Service is on  Tuesday evenings at 7pm and is free to attend and most importantly open to all..

We do not charge a penny but if anyone would like to make a donation it will be gratefully received and then sent on to the Beatson Cancer Charity.
